Senior Manager – Assurance

About the role

RSM Kuwait is seeking a Senior Manager – Assurance to lead audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion. This full‑time, on‑site position in Sharq will ensure high‑quality deliverables while adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex audit and assurance engagements, overseeing all phases from planning to final reporting.
• Supervise engagement teams, review work papers and reports, and provide technical guidance on accounting and auditing matters.
• Maintain and develop client relationships, identify advisory opportunities, and support business development activities such as proposals and presentations.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members, contributing to internal quality initiatives and methodology improvements.
• Stay current with relevant standards and regulations and support ESG, risk, and advisory initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent) with a degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in assurance or external audit, preferably in a reputable professional services or Big Four environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure.
• High level of professional ethics, integrity and commitment to quality.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
• Proficiency with audit and assurance tools, data‑analytics techniques and relevant ERP systems.
