Senior Manager – Project Controls

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Project Controls for its multi‑project portfolio in Kuwait. The role is responsible for delivering comprehensive planning, cost control, scheduling and risk management to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manpower planning, cost estimates and Project Management Plans.
• Prepare client financial approval documentation and manage cost control engineering activities.
• Create and update project schedules, manage change orders and oversee corporate and client cost‑schedule reporting.
• Maintain the document control system and conduct risk management reviews.
• Produce monthly project progress reports with detailed analysis and ensure compliance with contractual reporting requirements.
• Monitor project execution against approved PMP metrics for cost, schedule, scope and quality.
• Identify performance issues, recommend corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Recruit, mentor and develop project controls personnel, establishing suitable tools, processes and procedures.
• Act as custodian of project controls systems and demonstrate capabilities to existing and potential clients.
• Participate in key project execution activities including proposal preparation and team coaching.

• Commitment to uphold work integrity and adhere to applicable codes and standards.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and delivering training programs, particularly for local Kuwaiti personnel.
