About the role

The Senior Network Engineer will design, maintain and secure the enterprise network for a DoD‑related environment in Kuwait City. Working on‑site five days a week, you will ensure reliable communications for all users and support mission‑critical network operations.

Key responsibilities

Configure and troubleshoot routing (BGP, BGP‑VPNv4, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS, RIP, MPLS, VRF) and multicast protocols (PIM, MSDP, MBGP).
Manage switching technologies (STP, CST, MISTP, PVST+, RPVST+, VTP, DTP, GVRP, MAB, VLANs, private VLANs).
Implement DMVPN solutions (NHRP phase 3, QoS, IKE, IPSEC, EZVPN, site‑to‑site VPN).
Deploy IP services (WCCP, AAA, QoS, IP SLA, EEM, Syslog, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, NTP).
Use network management tools (TDMA, NetFlow, SNMP, Cisco Works, GEM‑X, SNMPc, ACS, ASDM, CSM) for monitoring and reporting.
Provide 24/7 engineering support, capacity planning, traffic engineering and network optimization.
Support theater‑level modeling, configuration management updates and integration of new requirements.
Assist in coalition/joint network demonstrations and produce technical reports.

Required profile

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Active Secret security clearance (or higher).
Minimum 8 years of network administration experience.
CCNP certification.
DoD 8570 IAT‑III / IAM‑II (or CASP/Higher) certification.
3‑5 years of Cisco FMC‑FTD design and implementation experience.
Proven ability to lead diverse technical teams.

IP services: WCCP, AAA, QoS, IP SLA, EEM, Syslog, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, NTP.
Network tools: NetFlow, SNMP, Cisco Works, GEM‑X, ACS, ASDM, CSM.
Hardware platforms: Cisco ASR, Nexus, ASA, TACLANE, Netscreen.
Cisco FMC‑FTD design and implementation.
