Senior Odoo Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Odoo Accountant to lead our accounting operations within the Odoo ERP environment. The role combines deep accounting knowledge with hands‑on Odoo expertise to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle accounting: General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor cash flow, support budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure IFRS/GAAP and local regulatory compliance.
• Lead Odoo implementation, configuration and optimisation of accounting modules.
• Maintain financial workflows, troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with IT or external Odoo consultants.
• Generate customised financial reports and dashboards from Odoo.
• Prepare tax returns (VAT, corporate tax) and liaise with auditors.
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants, review their work and enforce best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CMA or ACCA preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2‑3 years using Odoo ERP.
• Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP, tax regulations and audit processes.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
