Senior Partnerships Manager

About the role

Rateb is a digital wallet platform launching in Kuwait, focused on simplifying everyday payments for employers, workers, and payers. As a Senior Partnerships Manager you will own the commercial relationships with exchange houses and payment partners, turning signed agreements into active, revenue‑generating collaborations and building a pipeline of future partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the onboarding pipeline for new exchange houses and payment partners, handling commercial terms, KYC, and integration sequencing.
• Serve as the commercial liaison to Rateb’s banking partner and the payment rails that power the wallet.
• Monitor partner performance against SLAs, including settlement timeliness, transaction volume, and dispute rates.
• Conduct regular commercial reviews, resolve issues with partners, and work closely with Operations.
• Negotiate terms for new partnerships, scheme additions, and white‑label opportunities.
• Maintain a partnership pipeline with solid business cases for each addition.
• Report partner economics and pipeline status to the CEO and feed cost and volume assumptions into the financial model.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in partnerships, exchange‑house, or fintech business development.
• Strong commercial negotiation instincts combined with the ability to manage operational details of live partnerships.
• Deep familiarity with Kuwait’s financial‑services and exchange‑house landscape.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
