Senior Presales Multi-Cloud Solutions Architect

About the role

E-portal is seeking a Senior Presales Multi-Cloud Solutions Architect to lead client‑facing engagements for complex multi‑cloud, hybrid cloud, and cloud‑modernisation projects. You will own the technical sales cycle from discovery through proposal and handover, ensuring solutions are secure, delivery‑ready, and aligned with business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops with CIOs, CTOs, infrastructure, security, and business teams to define outcomes, regulatory constraints, latency, resilience, data residency, and workload placement.
• Design hybrid and multi‑cloud target architectures covering landing zones, identity, connectivity, network topology, observability, backup, disaster recovery, governance, and cost management.
• Build migration and modernisation roadmaps for legacy applications, databases, virtualised estates, and containerised platforms.
• Lead technical bid responses, reference architectures, architecture review boards, solution walkthroughs, and proof‑of‑concept or pilot planning.
• Collaborate with sales, alliances, delivery, and vendor teams to produce accurate BoQ, licensing assumptions, service scope, migration effort estimates, and transition plans.
• Provide high‑quality handover packages with assumptions, dependencies, risks, integration points, security requirements, and acceptance criteria.

Required profile

• Minimum 11 years of experience in multi‑cloud architecture, cloud migration, platform engineering, or enterprise infrastructure modernisation.
• Several years in customer‑facing presales or consulting roles.
• Experience in regulated or mission‑critical sectors in Kuwait or the GCC (preferred).
• At least one of the following certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional, Red Hat Certified Architect in OpenShift.
• Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree a plus) in cloud computing, enterprise architecture, business information systems, or technology management.
