Senior Storage Administrator – Dell & Solaris

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level Storage Administrator with deep expertise in Dell storage platforms and Solaris SPARC environments. The successful candidate will ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our enterprise storage infrastructure while supporting critical business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Dell PowerStore, PowerMax, PowerScale, and Unity systems.
• Perform routine storage tasks such as provisioning, monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Guarantee high availability and resilience of storage services.
• Collaborate with system administrators and application teams to meet business requirements.
• Manage Solaris SPARC servers, including OS‑level administration and storage integration.
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and deliver timely resolutions.
• Document processes, configurations, and procedures for operational efficiency.
• Stay current with emerging storage technologies and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5–10 years of hands‑on storage administration experience.
• Strong experience with Dell storage platforms (PowerStore, PowerMax, PowerScale, Unity).
• Solid knowledge of Solaris OS administration on SPARC hardware.
• Proven ability to work independently and solve complex problems.
