Senior System Administrator – Kuwait City

About the role

We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to join a reputable IT company in Kuwait City. The role involves managing a complex Windows and virtualised environment, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, including patch management and WSUS.
• Design, deploy and administer VMware vSphere environments (ESXi 6.0, vCenter 4.5‑6.5) with tasks such as VM cloning, snapshots, vMotion, DRS and HA.
• Implement and support Microsoft Hyper‑V, Citrix XenApp, and terminal servers.
• Lead Microsoft O365 migration projects from Exchange.
• Configure and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and trust relationships.
• Set up DMZ zones, Windows clusters with SQL Server, and integrate storage solutions (HP Synergy, Nutanix, IBM).
• Perform hyper‑converged migrations and manage blade and rack servers (Dell PowerEdge, HP ProLiant).

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Windows server administration and VMware virtualization.
• Proven track record with Hyper‑V, Citrix XenApp, and O365 migrations.
• Strong knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, and network security concepts.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple high‑priority tasks.
