Senior System Engineer – Dell EMC Storage

About the role

We are seeking a Senior System Engineer with deep expertise in Dell EMC storage solutions to design, implement and support enterprise storage environments in Kuwait. The role involves end‑to‑end delivery of SAN/NAS architectures, migrations and high‑availability solutions for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure and support Dell EMC storage platforms including PowerStore, PowerMax, Unity, PowerScale and ECS.
• Perform storage provisioning, zoning, mapping, LUN management and SAN/NAS architecture deployment.
• Execute storage migration projects between legacy and modern platforms.
• Implement and support Metro/Global replication, Disaster Recovery, High Availability and Business Continuity solutions.
• Integrate storage systems with VMware vSphere/vCenter, Microsoft Hyper‑V, Linux and Windows servers.
• Configure and troubleshoot Fibre Channel SAN environments, including Brocade and Cisco switches, and manage zoning and fabric.
• Conduct performance analysis, health checks, optimization and root‑cause investigations.
• Support NAS protocols such as NFS, SMB/CIFS and FTP.
• Perform firmware upgrades, patching and lifecycle management.
• Prepare implementation documentation (HLD, LLD, SOPs, as‑built, migration plans) and provide L2/L3 technical support during and after deployment.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, project managers and technical teams throughout project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in enterprise storage implementation and administration.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with Dell EMC storage solutions.
• Proven track record of storage deployment and migration projects.
• Strong understanding of SAN/NAS architecture, replication, DR, HA and storage optimisation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience working in enterprise/datacenter environments.
