Service Desk Administrator – Camp Arifjan, Kuwait (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Service Desk Administrator provides front‑line IT support at Camp Arifjan, handling computer, printer and network issues for military and civilian users. The role requires rapid decision‑making, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage and route tickets using ServiceNow.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for in‑person, phone, email and ServiceNow requests.
• Diagnose and resolve Microsoft Windows OS and Office 2007 issues, as well as site‑authorized software.
• Create and manage user accounts, email accounts, and distribution lists in Microsoft Exchange Server.
• Administer network services, including print queues, Server Manager and CISCO VMPS.
• Log, track and assign unresolved tickets to appropriate IT groups, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with the site Information Management Officer (IMO) to optimize Service Desk resources.
• Document all activities for accurate reporting and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with an active Secret (or higher) security clearance.
• High school diploma or GED with at least one year of service‑desk/help‑desk experience.
• Valid U.S. passport and driver’s license; ability to pass police and medical checks.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts and handle multiple priorities.
