Service Desk Administrator (IT Help Desk) – Camp Arifjan, Kuwait

About the role

We are seeking a Service Desk Administrator to provide front‑line IT support at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The role involves handling computer, printer and network issues reported in‑person, by phone, via ServiceNow or email, and ensuring tickets are resolved or escalated promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for all end‑users, delivering in‑person and telephone support.
• Log, track and manage trouble tickets using ServiceNow, assigning unresolved tickets to the appropriate IT groups.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft operating systems (Army Gold Master/Universal Gold Master) and Microsoft Office 2007.
• Create and maintain user logon and email accounts in Microsoft Exchange Server and User Manager.
• Manage network services, print queues and Cisco VMPS administration.
• Collaborate with the site Information Management Officer to optimise Service Desk resources.
• Document all activities for accurate reporting and continuous‑improvement.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with an active Secret (or higher) security clearance.
• High school diploma or GED with at least one year of service‑desk/help‑desk experience.
• Valid U.S. passport, International Driver’s Permit (or Kuwait driver’s licence) and U.S. driver’s licence.
• Ability to pass police clearance, medical qualifications and provide current visa sponsor information.
