Service Desk Administrator – IT Help Desk (Secret Clearance)

About the role

We are seeking a Service Desk Administrator to provide front‑line IT support at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The role involves handling computer, printer and network issues via in‑person, phone, ServiceNow and email channels, ensuring rapid resolution or escalation.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for all end‑users, delivering in‑person and telephone support.
• Log, track and manage trouble tickets using ServiceNow, assigning unresolved tickets to appropriate IT groups.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft operating systems (Army Gold Master/Universal Gold Master) and Microsoft Office 2007.
• Create and manage user accounts, email accounts and distribution lists in Microsoft Exchange Server.
• Administer network services, print queues, Server Manager and CISCO VMPS.
• Collaborate with the site Information Management Officer to optimize Service Desk resources.
• Document work performed and generate reports on Service Desk activity.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with an active Secret (or higher) security clearance.
• High school diploma or GED with at least one year of service desk/help desk experience.
• Valid U.S. passport and driver’s license; for in‑country candidates, a valid International Driver’s Permit or Kuwait driver’s license.
• Ability to pass police clearance, medical qualifications and visa requirements.
