Service Engineer - Tooling Center

About the role

Siemens Energy is looking for a Service Engineer for its Tooling Center. The role covers technical services, calibration, maintenance and quality assurance of service tools and measuring instruments in line with Siemens Energy and international standards, and prepares and manages tooling requirements for power plant maintenance while coordinating with internal and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical services, calibration and maintenance of mechanical and electrical tools and measuring instruments in compliance with Siemens Energy and international quality standards.
• Ensure project and site teams receive the tools, documentation and support they need, following QA, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and maintain the tooling portfolio in a cost-effective way, including performance monitoring and reporting.
• Prepare, inspect and deploy service tools for maintenance projects in Kuwait and international locations.
• Coordinate with external vendors for tool calibration, repairs, maintenance and spare parts to keep equipment available and reliable.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in maintenance activities within the power generation or oil & gas industry.
• Willingness to work in the Tooling Center and on project sites as required.
• Strong written and spoken English, and proven ability to work in multicultural teams.
