Shift Supervisor

About the role

The Shift Supervisor ensures smooth store operations during assigned shifts, overseeing team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining standards of cleanliness, product quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead team members by example, treating guests and staff with respect.
• React promptly to issues, providing direction and support throughout the shift.
• Train, orient and monitor new employees, ensuring coverage and optimal service.
• Manage shift cash procedures, count the till, handle payments and issue receipts.
• Enforce store policies, health and safety standards, and Tim Hortons operating standards.
• Maintain product merchandising, stock levels and clean checkout areas.
• Complete shift documentation such as waste records and store checklists.
• Support the Store Manager in driving sales and addressing guest complaints.

Required profile

• Demonstrates strong people‑management skills and a guest‑first mindset.
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment, multitasking across various store positions.
• Communicates clearly and resolves guest issues with urgency.
• Adheres to health, safety and food‑safety regulations.
