Shop Drawing / CAD Coordinator – 5-7 Years Experience

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Shop Drawing / CAD Coordinator to lead the preparation and coordination of shop drawings across a variety of construction projects. You will work on architectural, commercial, interior fit‑out, signage, structural steel, and façade systems, ensuring all drawings meet project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare shop, fabrication, production, installation, and as‑built drawings for diverse project categories.
• Coordinate drawing sets with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage design review, site surveys, consultant/client approvals, material coordination, and production planning.
• Generate accurate production files and manufacturing drawings for factory execution.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, fabrication standards, and installation requirements.
• Support project handover and maintain as‑built documentation.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of proven experience in shop drawing preparation and coordination.
• Strong understanding of the full project cycle from design to handover.
• Experience with GCC projects and familiarity with local consultant approval processes.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software.
