SIEM and SOAR Platform Engineer

About the role

Accenture Security is seeking a SIEM and SOAR Platform Engineer to design, implement and optimise Google SecOps solutions for our clients. You will act as the subject‑matter expert for Chronicle SIEM and SOAR, enhancing security monitoring, threat detection and automated response capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and fine‑tune Google SecOps (Chronicle SIEM and SOAR) platforms to meet client security requirements.
• Develop, tune and maintain detection rules and logic using YARA‑L and native Chronicle features, reducing false positives.
• Create and manage SOAR playbooks that automate alert enrichment, investigation workflows and approved response actions.
• Integrate the SecOps platform with cloud, endpoint, network and third‑party security tools for comprehensive coverage.
• Troubleshoot complex data ingestion, parsing, correlation and platform issues to ensure data integrity and continuous monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience with security operations platforms, preferably Google Chronicle.
• Strong analytical skills for data modelling, rule creation and incident response automation.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and guide clients on best practices.
