Site Engineer / Project Engineer – Fit-Out

About the role

BÖWE, an award‑winning architecture and design firm, is looking for a detail‑oriented Site Engineer / Project Engineer specialized in interior fit‑out to join its Kuwait team. The role involves day‑to‑day site supervision, coordination with contractors, suppliers and consultants, and ensuring that all works meet approved drawings, specifications and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and verify compliance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal design teams to maintain smooth execution.
• Review and approve shop drawings, technical details and site instructions before work starts.
• Monitor progress, manpower, material deliveries and subcontractor performance against the schedule.
• Control quality of materials, workmanship and finishing works on site.
• Collaborate with MEP teams to prevent clashes between architectural and services installations.
• Prepare daily reports, progress updates, material requests and variation logs.
• Identify and report site obstacles, delays, technical issues and safety concerns.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of experience in construction, interior fit‑out and site supervision.
• Valid transferable residency in Kuwait.
• Strong ability to read architectural, shop and MEP coordination drawings.
• Excellent communication with contractors, consultants and internal departments.
• Proactive problem‑solving and clear reporting skills.
