Software Developer – Group IT

About the role

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our Group IT team in Kuwait. You will design, build, and maintain robust applications that meet business needs while ensuring high quality and security.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software programs based on user requirements and approved business needs.
• Create responsive user interfaces usable across multiple devices.
• Perform testing activities and produce required test documentation.
• Prepare technical and user documentation for all developed programs.
• Provide user support and training as needed.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues.
• Ensure code complies with application security standards and best practices.
• Follow approved development standards, coding guidelines, and source‑code control procedures.
• Execute any additional tasks assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science or a Master of Computer Applications.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in business software development.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication abilities.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• SQL and PL/SQL, including database procedures, functions, packages and objects.
• Web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and responsive design techniques.
• RESTful Web Services, API development and integration.
• Familiarity with Low‑Code/No‑Code development platforms.
• Knowledge of Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports (advantageous).
