Solar Specialist

About the role

The Solar Specialist will plan, implement and optimise solar energy solutions that support Geotech's operations in Kuwait. This full‑time, on‑site role involves assessing site conditions, designing systems, coordinating installations and monitoring performance to ensure reliable power generation.

Key responsibilities

• Assess site conditions and conduct feasibility studies for solar projects.
• Design, configure and oversee the installation and commissioning of solar systems.
• Monitor system performance, analyse data and prepare technical reports.
• Recommend improvements based on industry best practices and data insights.
• Stay up‑to‑date with solar industry developments and support wind‑energy feasibility evaluations.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of solar power, solar systems and the broader solar industry.
• Understanding of wind energy and its role in overall power‑generation strategies.
• Experience designing, installing or maintaining renewable‑energy systems in commercial or industrial settings.
• Familiarity with safety standards, local regulations in Kuwait and basic electrical‑engineering principles.
• Relevant engineering or technical degree (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy) or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on‑site, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
