Sourcing Head – China & Global Markets

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Head to lead sourcing and procurement activities for machinery, equipment, structural components and related products across China and other global markets. The role is remote‑based with occasional travel to the UAE and other international locations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers in China and worldwide.
• Design and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms and delivery schedules with international suppliers.
• Manage end‑to‑end sourcing from supplier identification through purchase orders to final delivery.
• Maintain strong long‑term supplier relationships and coordinate with engineering, logistics, operations, finance and quality teams.
• Ensure sourced items meet quality and technical specifications and monitor supplier performance.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, conduct market research and mitigate sourcing risks.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, contracts and performance reports, and provide regular updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Procurement or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain management.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience sourcing machinery, equipment or structural components from China and other markets.
• Strong knowledge of the Chinese supplier and manufacturing ecosystem; Mandarin proficiency is a significant advantage.
• Experience in heavy machinery, industrial equipment or the amusement ride/outdoor entertainment industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent English communication skills and good understanding of Chinese business culture.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, international environment and willingness to travel as needed.
