Sr. Manager Logistics Performance

About the role

Talabat is looking for a Senior Manager to own and drive end‑to‑end logistics performance in Kuwait. The role will translate data into action, lead cross‑functional initiatives and build scalable systems that ensure best‑in‑class operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor market KPIs and SLAs (service levels, cost, efficiency, reliability) and proactively identify performance gaps.
• Lead initiatives to close gaps, improve transparency through reporting, dashboards and executive reviews.
• Oversee demand forecasting, rider supply planning and staffing to maximise utilisation and service levels.
• Develop and optimise frameworks for rider onboarding, retention and off‑boarding.
• Own operational cost metrics such as cost‑per‑order and drive cost‑optimisation initiatives while maintaining customer experience.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, root causes and opportunities, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Manage vendor performance (restaurants, shops, partners) and improve key vendor KPIs.
• Develop SOPs, institutionalise best practices and scale successful initiatives across the region.
• Partner with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams (Commercial, Finance, Product, Marketing, PR) on strategic bets and high‑impact projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or operations performance management, preferably in a fast‑growth delivery environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with large, complex datasets.
• Demonstrated track record of leading cross‑functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present data‑driven insights to executive audiences.
• Experience in demand forecasting, staffing models and cost optimisation.
