Sr. Service Technician - Field

About the role

Electronic service technicians diagnose, repair, and replace parts for household appliances, ensuring complete customer satisfaction. The senior field technician will pre‑screen issues, configure and troubleshoot hardware, and manage parts logistics while working independently on customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Pre‑screen, identify, analyse and repair appliance and electronic product failures.
• Configure and troubleshoot hardware including audio‑DSP, A/V control, video/audio devices and USB‑based software.
• Order necessary parts prior to service visits and maintain inventory of tools and equipment.
• Complete daily administrative tasks such as warranty claims, report submissions and service documentation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of field service experience with major home appliances.
• Valid Refrigerant Handling Certificate(s) and other applicable service certifications.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean record and ability to meet physical demands of the role.
• Flexible schedule and strong communication and customer service skills.

Required skills

• Hardware troubleshooting (audio DSP, A/V control, video/audio devices, USB software).
• Use of electronics diagnostic and refrigeration test equipment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and smartphone technology.
