Stock Coordinator

About the role

The Stock Coordinator is responsible for the end‑to‑end handling of merchandise in a retail environment. You will receive, inspect, store, and issue products to ensure the shop floor is always stocked with the right items at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, count it physically and electronically, and verify accuracy.
• Inspect product quality and report any damaged or discrepant items to the store manager.
• Classify and stock products in the stockroom according to store procedures.
• Tag newly arrived stock and process returns as instructed by senior staff.
• Assist sales staff in replenishing shelves to maintain product availability.
• Maintain vigilance over store security and uphold housekeeping standards.
• Record inventory movements (inward/outward) and generate related reports.
• Check for missing price tags and report issues.
• Support stock‑take processes and handle heavy lifting (minimum 10 kg).

Required profile

• Physically fit with the ability to lift at least 10 kg regularly.
• Flexible to work extended hours during sales or festival periods.
• Attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced retail environment.
