Storekeeper

About the role

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, securing and issuing products within the showroom and back‑store. The role ensures accurate inventory management, safe product handling and compliance with Alghanim’s policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Receive goods at the showroom, verify quantities and report any discrepancies or damaged items to the Store Manager.
• Label, store and record damaged or dented items, and arrange their transfer to the designated dented‑house‑ware schedule.
• Collaborate with Section Heads to ensure received items are displayed promptly and highlight any items that remain undisplayed.
• Maintain accurate stock counts, run auto‑replenishment reports and issue Post Goods Issue (PGI) for sales from back‑storage.
• Execute stock transfers to other showrooms and process returns to suppliers.
• Ensure the back‑store is kept tidy, safe and aligned with organisational cost‑control measures.
• Promote employee awareness of safety and emergency procedures within the back‑store.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience in process improvement or related logistics functions.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong command of English and Arabic.
• Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Good analytical abilities.
