Strategic Customer Supply Chain Partner

About the role

Roche is seeking a Strategic Customer Supply Chain Partner to act as a consultant for healthcare customers. You will diagnose current supply‑chain setups, design optimized models, and lead digital transformation projects that improve efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site diagnostics of customer supply‑chain processes using the SCOR Model.
• Facilitate workshops with hospitals, labs and authorities to map current logistics and design future‑state workflows with Value Stream Mapping.
• Develop customized supply‑chain strategies that reduce inventory, manual handling and waste.
• Partner with commercial teams to translate operational findings into service proposals.
• Lead end‑to‑end optimization projects from scoping and business‑case creation to execution and closure.
• Build multidisciplinary project teams, define roles, allocate resources and monitor milestones.
• Establish governance, track KPIs, manage risks and report to steering committees.
• Drive change‑management and stakeholder alignment for sustainable process adoption.
• Roll out Roche’s digital inventory solutions, applying CPFR to enhance customer integration.
• Monitor post‑implementation performance and manage ongoing customer support.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain consulting or project management within the healthcare sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across commercial, technical and regional teams.
