Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

The Supply Chain Specialist will oversee end‑to‑end supply chain activities, ensuring efficient material flow, cost control and on‑time delivery. Working closely with procurement, logistics and warehouse teams, the role supports business objectives through effective inventory and vendor management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily supply chain operations including procurement, inventory control and logistics coordination.
• Monitor stock levels, trigger replenishment and conduct regular stock audits to prevent shortages or excess.
• Track shipments, resolve delivery issues and collaborate with shipping providers to optimise costs.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers, maintain vendor relationships and evaluate performance.
• Analyse supply chain KPIs such as lead time, fill rate and cost efficiency, and prepare regular reports for management.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and work with cross‑functional teams (sales, production, finance) to align supply chain activities with demand forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics roles.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and vendor negotiation.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and communicate effectively across departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
