Survey Inspector – Marine and Ports

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Survey Inspector to join our port construction project in Kuwait. The role involves overseeing site surveys, ensuring quality control, and supporting project management throughout all phases of the marine and port works.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed site surveys and inspections during all project phases.
• Perform design reviews and provide technical input to optimise plans and specifications.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory standards.
• Utilise advanced survey equipment to collect and analyse data for planning and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and contractors to resolve technical issues and maintain timelines.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports with findings, recommendations and supporting documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in survey inspection, preferably in port or marine construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with advanced survey equipment and techniques.
• AutoCAD.
• GIS software (preferred).
