Surveyor – Overhead Transmission Line Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Surveyor to support overhead transmission line projects. The role involves conducting route surveys, establishing control points and delivering accurate survey data to support design and construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform route surveys for overhead transmission line projects and set up stubs and templates for various OHL towers and voltages.
• Spot, stake and set out tower foundation locations according to approved design drawings.
• Establish and verify survey control points, benchmarks and ensure accurate coordinates and elevations.
• Carry out topographic, profile, cross‑section and as‑built surveys for transmission line corridors and construction works.
• Prepare survey reports, coordinate calculations and CAD drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Experience in surveying for overhead transmission line or similar infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software for preparing survey drawings.
