Sustainability & Environmental Specialist

About the role

We're looking for a detail‑oriented and analytical Sustainability/Environmental Specialist to join our organization in Kuwait. You will develop, implement and monitor environmental and sustainability initiatives across our port, terminal and infrastructure operations, working with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance and reduce our ecological footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct environmental impact assessments and sustainability audits for port, terminal, and infrastructure operations.
• Develop and implement environmental management programs aligned with ISO 14001, MARPOL and local regulations.
• Monitor and analyse air quality, water quality, waste management and emissions data.
• Prepare sustainability reports and compliance documentation for regulatory agencies.
• Identify opportunities to reduce carbon emissions, energy consumption and waste generation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in environmental management within port, terminal or maritime operations.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, MARPOL, IMO regulations and Kuwait environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in environmental data analysis and use of GIS tools.
• Project management experience with ability to manage multiple initiatives.
