About the role

Fortinet is seeking a Systems Engineer to partner with sales representatives in Kuwait, supporting the full sales cycle for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

Lead technical aspects of sales cycles, from RFIs through RFPs/RFQs and proof‑of‑concepts.
Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, collaborating closely with sales colleagues.
Maintain accurate technical information in Salesforce CRM and manage multiple deals simultaneously.
Continuously improve knowledge of Fortinet products, competitive landscape, and security technologies.

Required profile

Proven experience in a pre‑sales engineering role, managing end‑to‑end technical aspects of deals.
Strong problem‑solving skills with a track record of influencing key wins.
Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

Encryption, authentication, network security, intrusion detection, anti‑virus, routing, switching, LAN, WAN.
Knowledge of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
CISSP accreditation (beneficial) and familiarity with Fortinet solutions.
Experience using Salesforce CRM.
