Technical Professional – Completions

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Technical Professional to support Completion, Products & Services (CPS) job design, well support, and post‑job analysis for customers in the designated region. The role involves direct interaction with technical customers, ensuring projects meet Halliburton’s quality and safety standards while providing on‑site guidance and problem‑solving.

Key responsibilities

• Design and support CPS jobs, providing post‑job analysis for NWA/Country customers.
• Maintain relationships with the technical customer base and act as a communication link between customers, Business Development, and Operations.
• Advise crews on‑site to ensure compliance with Halliburton’s quality and safety standards.
• Interpret well‑site data in real time using software simulators, electrical and mechanical equipment, calculations, and modeling.
• Solve on‑the‑spot issues remotely and at the well site, providing direction to site personnel as needed.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
• Minimum 18 months of industry experience in oil‑field completions or related technical roles.
• Demonstrated technical competence in at least one Product Service Line (PSL) and a general understanding of others.

Required skills

• Proficiency with software simulators for well‑site data interpretation.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment used in completions.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and modeling.
• Understanding of basic engineering principles applied to well‑completion tasks.
