Technical Services Senior Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Services Senior Engineer to join our plastic manufacturing plant in Shuaiba, Kuwait. The role will lead technical projects, oversee equipment performance, and manage facility operations to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical projects from planning through execution, controlling scope, budget and timeline.
• Oversee maintenance, performance and continuous improvement of manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
• Manage facility operations, ensuring utilities and infrastructure support manufacturing activities.
• Monitor and optimise manufacturing processes to boost productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Conduct regular process audits, identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to maximise equipment reliability.
• Liaise with government authorities to secure regulatory approvals and ensure compliance.
• Support health, safety, environmental and regulatory initiatives across the plant.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical reports, project updates, maintenance records and compliance documentation.
• Participate in equipment upgrades, facility expansions and capital investment projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of experience in technical services, engineering, maintenance or facility management within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing or a similar process industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing machinery, industrial utilities and production processes.
