Telephone Supervisor

About the role

The Telephone Supervisor ensures seamless communication between guests, management, and hotel departments. Working on the front desk telephone system, you will be the first point of contact for enquiries, messages and emergencies, representing the brand’s high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and management messages, enquiries and emergency calls.
• Accurately record and deliver messages, including wake‑up calls, to the appropriate parties.
• Promote hotel facilities, services and local attractions using up‑selling techniques when appropriate.
• Handle emergency situations immediately, providing clear and accurate information.
• Maintain compliance with hotel security, fire regulations and health‑and‑safety policies.
• Attend required training sessions and stay updated on hotel services and brand standards.
• Assist other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with strong telephone communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a customer‑focused environment is advantageous.

Required skills

• Competent level of IT proficiency.
