Transient Aircraft Services Technician (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician provides essential ground handling and servicing for United States and Coalition aircraft operating in Kuwait. Working 24/7 in a high‑tempo, austere environment, the technician ensures safe arrival, turn‑around and departure of aircraft in support of mission requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, chocking and grounding in accordance with Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute arrival and departure services, including positioning, safety checks and FOD prevention.
• Conduct ground handling tasks to support aircraft turn‑around, launch and recovery operations.
• Inspect and service vehicles and support equipment, maintaining strict tool control and accountability.
• Maintain accurate servicing records, shift logs and inspection checklists.
• Identify and report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions and operational issues promptly.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a 24/7/365 flight‑line environment with zero‑harm focus.
• Clearance to hold a Secret security clearance.
• Strong communication skills for coordination with supervisors and airfield management.
