About the role
The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician supports United States and Coalition Forces by providing ground handling and servicing for aircraft arriving and departing from a Qatar installation. The role operates 24/7 in a high‑tempo, austere environment and requires strict adherence to safety and security standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, chocking, grounding and positioning in line with Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
- Execute arrival and departure services, including turn‑around ground handling tasks.
- Conduct operator‑level inspections and servicing of vehicles and support equipment used in TAS operations.
- Maintain tool control, participate in FOD prevention activities, and ensure a ZERO‑harm workplace.
- Document aircraft servicing records, shift logs and inspection checklists.
- Communicate hazards, equipment malfunctions and operational issues to supervisors promptly.
Required profile
- Valid U.S. Secret Clearance.
- Ability to work in a 24/7/365 flight‑line environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with Technical Orders and U.S. Air Force directives.
Required skills

- Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention.
- Knowledge of airfield safety standards and Technical Orders.
