Transient Aircraft Services Technician (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician supports KBR’s AFCAP V program in Qatar, providing essential ground handling and servicing for U.S. Air Force and coalition aircraft. Working on a 24/7 flight line, the technician ensures safe, efficient aircraft arrival, turn‑around and departure in a high‑tempo, austere environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, chocking and grounding in accordance with Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute arrival and departure services, including positioning, safety checks and equipment inspections.
• Conduct ground handling tasks to support aircraft turn‑around and mission readiness.
• Assist with launch and recovery operations under supervision.
• Inspect and service vehicles and support equipment used in TAS operations.
• Maintain strict tool control and participate in foreign object debris (FOD) prevention activities.
• Document servicing records, shift logs and inspection checklists.
• Report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions and operational issues promptly.

• Clearance to hold a Secret security clearance.
