About the role
The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician supports 24/7 flight‑line operations for United States and Coalition Forces in Kuwait. Reporting to the Supervisor, the technician performs aircraft arrival, marshaling, parking, servicing, turn‑around and departure tasks while ensuring strict safety and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a ZERO‑harm workplace by following flight‑line safety standards, FOD prevention, tool control and PPE usage.
- Marshal, park and position aircraft according to Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
- Execute arrival and departure services, including chocking, grounding and safe positioning.
- Perform ground‑handling and servicing operations to support aircraft turn‑around and mission readiness.
- Assist with aircraft launch and recovery in coordination with supervisors and airfield management.
- Inspect and service vehicles and support equipment used in TAS operations.
- Document aircraft servicing records, shift logs and inspection checklists.
Required profile
- Ability to work in a high‑tempo, austere environment with 24/7/365 flight‑line operations.
- Strong attention to safety, hazard identification and immediate reporting.
- Effective communication with supervisors and team members.
