Transient Aircraft Services Technician (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician supports 24/7 flight‑line operations for U.S. and coalition forces in Qatar. Working under the AFCAP V program, you will ensure safe, efficient aircraft ground handling, servicing, and turn‑around in a high‑tempo, austere environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, chocking, grounding and positioning according to Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute arrival and departure services, including ground handling tasks required for mission readiness.
• Conduct operator‑level inspections and servicing of vehicles and support equipment used in TAS operations.
• Maintain strict tool control, FOD prevention, and PPE compliance at all times.
• Document aircraft servicing records, shift logs, and inspection checklists accurately.
• Communicate hazards, equipment malfunctions, and operational issues to supervisors immediately.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, 24/7/365 flight‑line environment.
• Commitment to zero‑harm safety standards and strict adherence to U.S. Air Force directives.
• Clearance to hold a Secret security clearance.
