Transient Aircraft Services Technician – Secret Clearance

About the role

The Transient Aircraft Services Technician provides essential ground handling and servicing for United States and Coalition aircraft operating in Southwest Asia. Working on a 24/7 flight line in Kuwait, the technician ensures safe, efficient aircraft arrival, turn‑around and departure in support of mission requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, chocking and grounding in accordance with Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute arrival and departure services, including positioning, servicing and turn‑around tasks.
• Conduct operator‑level inspections and maintenance of ground support equipment and vehicles.
• Maintain strict tool control, accountability and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention on the flight line.
• Assist with aircraft launch and recovery operations under supervision.
• Document servicing actions, shift logs and inspection checklists accurately.
• Identify and report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions and operational issues immediately.

Required profile

• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to work in a high‑tempo, austere environment with 24/7 flight line operations.
• Commitment to zero‑harm safety standards and proper use of PPE.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and airfield management.
