Transient Aircraft Services Technician (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician performs aircraft ground handling and servicing operations at a Southwest Asia installation, supporting United States and Coalition Forces flight line activities 24/7/365.

Key responsibilities

• Execute aircraft arrival, marshaling, parking, chocking, grounding and departure tasks in compliance with Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Conduct ground handling and turn‑around services, including operator‑level inspections of vehicles and support equipment.
• Maintain strict tool control, participate in FOD prevention, and ensure a ZERO‑Harm workplace.
• Document servicing records, shift logs and inspection checklists, and report safety hazards or equipment issues promptly.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• 3–5 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or transient aircraft services.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification or equivalent military experience.
• Ability to work in austere conditions and maintain operational continuity across rotations.
