Transient Aircraft Services Technician (Secret Clearance) – Kuwait

About the role

The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician supports Southwest Asia Transient Aircraft Services for the U.S. Air Force and coalition forces in Kuwait. Working on a 24/7/365 flight line, the technician ensures safe, efficient aircraft ground handling, servicing, and turn‑around in a high‑tempo, austere environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a ZERO‑harm workplace by following all flight‑line safety requirements, including FOD prevention, tool control, and proper use of PPE.
• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, positioning, chocking, grounding, and other arrival/departure services in accordance with Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute ground‑handling tasks that support aircraft turn‑around and mission readiness.
• Assist with aircraft launch and recovery operations in coordination with supervisors and airfield management.
• Conduct operator‑level inspections and servicing of vehicles and support equipment used in TAS operations.
• Maintain strict accountability of tools and equipment, adhering to tool‑control programs.
• Participate in routine flight‑line inspections and immediate removal of foreign objects.
• Document aircraft servicing records, shift logs, and inspection checklists.

Required profile

• Ability to work safely in a high‑tempo, austere environment with 24/7 flight‑line operations.
• Clearance requirement: Secret clearance (as indicated in the title).
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and team members.
• Willingness to identify and report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, and operational issues promptly.
