About the role

The Unit Customer Service Specialist / Secretary provides essential secretarial and administrative support to a nursing unit, ensuring smooth daily operations and high patient satisfaction during weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a variety of secretarial and administrative duties for the assigned unit.
• Handle patient and visitor inquiries with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Maintain organized unit records, schedules, and communication channels.
• Enter data accurately and use computer programs to support unit workflow.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate efficient patient care.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification obtained within the first 60 days of employment.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to work flexible weekend hours (Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 am‑7:00 pm).
