Waiter/ess – Mint Outlet

About the role

The Mint Outlet at Jumeirah Messilah Beach is seeking a friendly and attentive Waiter/ess to deliver an enjoyable beverage and dining experience to guests. You will work in a vibrant beachfront setting, ensuring service standards reflect the luxury reputation of the Jumeirah brand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guests with expert service, anticipating needs before they are requested.
• Present menus, explain items and daily specials, and recommend beverages.
• Handle opening and closing side work, ensuring tables are set to standard.
• Operate the hotel’s point‑of‑sale system to ring up sales, print and close checks, and complete end‑of‑day readings.
• Maintain the outlet area, including changing ashtrays, serving cigarettes, and offering additional drinks or cigars.
• Report any accidents or guest complaints immediately to a manager.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a proactive attitude.
• Familiarity with beverage service, including appropriate glassware and garnishes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, luxury hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a team‑player mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the hotel’s computer point‑of‑sale system.
