Waiter/Waitress – Full‑time

About the role

Grand Hyatt Kuwait is seeking enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress professionals to join its food and beverage team. This full‑time, on‑site position involves delivering high‑quality service to guests in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus, and take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Serve dishes and drinks promptly while maintaining professional demeanor.
• Set and clear tables, ensure dining area cleanliness and organization.
• Explain menu items, recommend dishes, and accommodate special dietary requests.
• Process payments according to hotel standards and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff.
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Support colleagues during peak periods to maintain seamless service.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, attentive approach.
• Effective communication in English; Arabic or other languages are a plus.
• Experience in food and beverage service within hotels or restaurants preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, multitask and maintain accuracy.
• Professional appearance, punctuality, teamwork and reliability.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality education or food‑safety certifications are advantageous.

Required skills

• Knowledge of basic food and beverage standards, menu terminology, allergens and hygiene best practices.
