Warehouse Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor leads the inbound and outbound shift teams, ensuring that all inventory is accurately captured, inspected and stored. The role coordinates resources, monitors performance against KPIs and supports continuous improvement in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily shift schedules for inbound and outbound operations, ensuring staff are trained on SAP and warehouse systems.
• Verify that every SKU off‑loaded has a scannable barcode and conduct full inspection audits for packaging and labeling quality.
• Plan and allocate resources for off‑loading, put‑away and container handling, coordinating with the Fleet Supervisor to avoid delays.
• Generate daily reports on warehouse activity, report discrepancies (damages, shortages, excess) and support cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, ensure pallets, shrink‑wraps and other materials are available, and prioritize pending put‑away tasks.
• Recommend improvements, training and promotions for personnel, and enforce health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing inbound warehouse activities and leading a multicultural workforce.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet daily targets and drive KPI performance.
• Flexible, disciplined and motivated with a commitment to quality and safety.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) knowledge.
• Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SAP for inventory tracking.
• Understanding of KPI reporting and control procedures.
