C-12/King Air Aircraft Mechanic (FAA A&P) – Kuwait

About the role

The C-12/King Air Aircraft Mechanic (FAA A&P) is responsible for servicing, repairing, and overhauling assigned military transport aircraft and their subsystems to ensure continued airworthiness. The role requires hands‑on maintenance of turboprop aircraft, troubleshooting system malfunctions, and performing structural repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair aircraft structures, engines, hydraulic, and plumbing systems using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret manufacturers’ manuals, service bulletins, and technical orders to determine repair methods.
• Perform engine removal, disassembly, inspection for leaks or blade cracks, repair or replace components, and reinstall engines.
• Conduct operational checks on repaired or modified systems and execute engine runs as required.
• Maintain aircraft at line stations, performing short‑term repairs to keep aircraft mission‑ready.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
• U.S. citizenship to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Minimum seven (7) years experience as an A&P mechanic, including seven (7) years on C‑12/King Air (200/350/1900) turboprop aircraft.
• Completion of formal maintenance training on the assigned aircraft type.

Required skills
