Commis – Kitchen Assistant (Kuwait)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis to join our culinary team in Kuwait. The role offers a hands‑on opportunity to support our chefs, develop cooking techniques and contribute to a high‑standard dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist chefs in preparing and presenting dishes in line with our culinary standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Handle, label and store food ingredients correctly.
• Support timely meal execution during service periods.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar restaurant or hospitality role.
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation and ingredient handling.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with culinary equipment.
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
