Data Scientist Internship

About the role

The Data Scientist Internship at SLB Kuwait focuses on undirected research and solving open‑ended data problems. Interns will work on machinery diagnostics, prognostics, and data‑driven modeling of complex systems.

Key responsibilities

• Research and assess next‑generation technologies for machinery diagnostics and prognostics.
• Analyze raw data, assess quality, cleanse and structure it for downstream processing.
• Design and deploy visualizations and interactive dashboards using Power BI and Angular.
• Develop and apply machine‑learning algorithms and meta‑heuristic optimization methods.
• Process large multivariate datasets from equipment operations and manufacturing tests.
• Communicate findings through oral and written reports and collaborate with engineers.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Strong foundation in probability, hypothesis testing, and statistical significance.
