DevOps Engineer – On-site in Kuwait

About the role

Value & Growth Advisory‑VGA is seeking a full‑time DevOps Engineer to join its on‑site team in Kuwait. You will design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines while automating and managing Linux‑based infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable releases.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Administer, secure and troubleshoot Linux servers and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve performance issues and improve deployment processes.
• Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and document operational procedures.
• Contribute to best‑practice guidelines for scalability, reliability and security.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools.
• System administration of Linux environments.
• Continuous Integration and delivery workflows.
• Version control with Git.
• Containerisation with Docker.
• Orchestration with Kubernetes.
• CI tools such as Jenkins or similar.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Fundamental networking knowledge.
