Electrical Technician – Downhole Tool Maintenance

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an entry‑level Electrical Technician to support the repair, maintenance and calibration of down‑hole tool electronics used in directional and measurement‑while‑drilling applications. The role is based at Yard 34 in East Ahmadi, Kuwait and operates under close supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration and inspections on down‑hole tool electronics and related equipment.
• Assemble and disassemble tools associated with PSL equipment, including Directional/RSS and M/LWD sensors.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently and in compliance with Halliburton standards.
• Support measure‑while‑drilling and logging‑while‑drilling operations by maintaining tool functionality.

Required profile

• Technical school certificate or equivalent; an associate degree or higher is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electronic aptitude.
• Ability to work under supervision in a high‑safety environment.
• Willingness to develop technical skills on the job.
